Amidst the winds of change and the turmoil of pre-independence India, in 1942, a young and spirited Netai Mohan Saha embarked on a journey of determination and resilience. Leaving behind his homeland, erstwhile East Bengal (now part of Bangladesh), he arrived in the bustling city of Kolkata. With nothing but ambition and the tenacity to succeed, he began his quest for livelihood, eventually finding his calling as a Brokering agent in the spices trade.
In 1953, Netai Mohan Saha laid the foundations of M/s.Krishna Traders, marking the beginning of his journey as a wholesale trader and commission agent, specializing in spices. It marked the commencement of an enduring legacy of trade and trust.
During the ‘60s and ‘70s, Krishna Traders started expanding its horizon to multiple commodities like like Spices, Grains, Chemicals & other agricultural produce. Netai began catering to domestic demand by leveraging his connections as the President of Calcutta Kirana & Merchants Association, where he left an indelible mark. Soon, he spearheaded the inauguration of prestigious Bharat Chamber of Commerce as a Charter member to facilitate infrastructure development for domestic trade.
Along with registering as an Export house, the firm received recognition from the Government of India as a Government approved Trading House for its actively engagement in facilitating domestic & foreign trade while playing a pivotal role in protesting against Octroi implementation on Indian agricultural products, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the industry.
Following the success at foreign trade and with the help of the next generation, the firm secured the coveted status of a 3-Star Export House, as per the Government of India's accreditation. This recognition was a testament to the company's dedication to excellence and its consistent growth as a trusted player in the export industry.
The 1990s marked a new phase of expansion for Krishna Traders. Under their father’s strict apprenticeship, all the 3 sons of Mr. Netai Mohan Saha were geared up to finally take over while setting up newer markets and new products like Paper, Paper Packaging & Book printing as the new leaders of the firm who began exploring newer markets and newer products like. The company's commitment to quality and service garnered numerous awards and accolades from prestigious bodies such as FIEO, CHEMEXIL, APEDA, SPICES BOARD OF INDIA, and more.

Based on the discussion, we provide product samples upon customer request, subject to an additional fee.

Quality Control
Our dedicated quality control team ensures that the products meet the required standards and specifications.

Order Processing
Internally, we process the order and initiate communication with our registered mills to fulfil the requirements.
STEP 4
Order Placement
The customer places the order for the desired products.
STEP 7
Transportation from mills
The ordered products are transported from the mills to the designated port for shipping.
STEP 8
Shipment to Destination
The products are shipped to the destination port according to the customer’s specified requirements.
STEP 9
Customer Clearance & Delivery
Upon arrival at the destination port, the products undergo customs clearance and are then transported to the customer’s location, ensuring a smooth and timely delivery process.
